An online store your AI assistantcan actually run.

AI agents for ecommerce need a defined connection to the store, not just a chat window beside it. We build that connection into the admin with an MCP server and 79 tools. It works the same way for every store built on our platform, including stores outside peptides. The assistant works within permissions, previews and confirmations rather than receiving unrestricted access.

What MCP is.

MCP is a shared way for an AI assistant to connect to tools and information in another system. Our MCP server gives that assistant a defined set of store-admin tools instead of asking it to click through screens.

Supported assistants.

The built-in connection supports Claude, ChatGPT, Claude Code, Cursor, VS Code, Codex, Gemini CLI and Windsurf. Your team can work from the assistant it uses while the store keeps its own permissions and publishing rules.

MCP ecommerce does not mean the assistant becomes the owner of your store. The connection exposes specific tools. Staff permissions, confirmation requirements and the audit trail still belong to the platform, regardless of which supported assistant makes the request.

What an agent can do.

There are 79 tools across catalog, orders, pages and SEO. Useful requests start with a clear task and a defined result: a list to inspect, a draft to review or a change to confirm. That is different from asking an assistant to run the business without supervision.

  • Find variants below their low-stock level
  • Draft a landing page for review
  • Fix missing image alt text
  • Update SEO titles in bulk
  • Summarize sales for a date range

From a request to a reviewed change.

The illustration shows a stock question, a page draft and a publication request. It uses sample data, not a live connection to your store. In the platform, the important distinction is between reading information, preparing a draft and making a live change.

A draft gives your team something concrete to inspect. You can review the words and the preview before deciding whether to publish. A request to change SEO titles in bulk still needs a clear scope; an assistant should not treat a catalog-wide change as an invitation to rewrite unrelated content.

Guardrails.

The MCP server is off by default and uses OAuth 2.1 with PKCE. Access is role-bound to the platform's five staff roles. Connecting an assistant does not grant a broader role than the staff member is allowed to use.

Work starts in drafts. Publishing, deleting or doing anything that costs money requires a preview and confirmation. The compliance check runs on agent copy, so an assistant cannot bypass the research-use content rules by submitting the edit through a tool.

Everything goes in the audit log. Your team can trace agent activity as part of the same operational oversight used for staff work. Agents never touch payments, refunds, staff or API keys. Those exclusions are part of the boundary, not suggestions for a prompt.

Use the right task for the connection.

An inventory question should identify the stock information you want to review. A sales summary should name the date range. A page request should describe the intended content and leave publication as a separate decision. Clear requests make the output easier for your team to check.

The assistant does not replace product documentation or legal review. It can help with admin work, but the underlying catalog, lot records and content policies still need to be correct. For research-use stores, batch evidence and careful copy remain separate responsibilities.

Built into an owned store.

We configure AI operations as part of the commerce build, not as a replacement for it. Your catalog, pages, checkout and staff tools run on the same platform. You own the code and accounts, and there is no monthly platform fee to us. Optional support and hosting provider costs are separate.

On the call, we can review the tasks your team wants an assistant to handle and the staff roles involved. Start with the work you can inspect, such as drafts and reports. The platform's live-action boundaries remain in place when those tasks become routine.
